A week-long event dedicated to the fight against human-trafficking concluded Friday in the southern Albanian city of Vlora.
The National Anti-Trafficking Week coincided with the 15th anniversary of the foundation of Vatra, an association devoted to helping trafficking victims.
"Almost 60 activities on national scale have been organized during this week," Deputy Interior Minister Elona Gjebrea, also the country's national coordinator for the fight against trafficking, said at the closing ceremony in Vlora.
Gjebrea pledged to stick to the four pillars of legal proceedings, prevention, defense and partnership and continue the battle against human-trafficking.
