Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa has launched a nationwide campaign against corruption and violations including the review of endowment rental values.

The campaign will cover review of rental values allocated for spaces annexed to mosques nationwide.

The minister started his the campaign by a surprise visit to el Sayeda Zeinab Mosque, Cairo. After his tour, the minister took disciplinary actions against four workers.

Also, he mandated heads of departments and aides to launch investigations on rental value of teaching classes annexed to Qaher El Tatar Mosque.

Under the minister directions, the ministry would probe violations reported against Mosque laws.
