Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed Tayyeb on Wednesday called on the peace-loving countries to find a just solution to the Palestinian problem.
The Grand Imam made the remarks in a meeting with Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Adeis, currently visiting Cairo.
During the meeting, the two Imams discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Al Azhar and Palestine in educational and Dawaa aspects.
The latest developments in Palestine, notably Al Quds city, were also tackled at the meeting. Adeis briefed Tayyeb on the Israeli violations against the Islamic holy places in Palestine.
