His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today paid a visit to the Kewalram, Bhatia, Asarpota and Haridas families to mark Diwali.
HRH Crown Prince noted that Diwali reminds all in the Kingdom and across the world that light will always serve as a beacon for truth, human dignity and compassion.
In this regard, HRH Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain, home to many religious communities, maintains its long-standing support to fostering religious and cultural tolerance.
HRH Crown Prince also emphasised the important role Islam plays in promoting tolerance among peoples of all religions and cultures.
HRH Crown Prince concluded by noting that this Diwali also represents an opportunity to celebrate the important and valuable contributions the Indian community have made to the Kingdom.
