Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah honored Tuesday evening winners of Kuwait's International Contemporary Art meeting.
Sheikh Mohammad said at the honoring ceremony the meeting, due until December 28, would pave way for fair competition among formative artists with the aim of refining their skills.
He said formative art was a human reflection on the inner world of artists and their relations with their surroundings.
Sheikh Mohammad thanked the judges for their integrity and objectivitiy of their selection of winners.
Chairman of Kuwait Arts Association Abdulrasoul Salman thanked all those who contributed to the success of the meeting, which features participation of 26 Arab artists.
He said the association was keen on excellence in different types of art.
