Chairman of the Muslim Youth Movement in Malaysia, Dr Mohamed Nur, said late Dr Hassan Turab was an exceptional intellectual in the Muslim World.
He added in his statement before the opening session of the Popular Congress Party's conference in Khartoum that Turabi was able to reconcile many fiqh schools, had ability to argue and debate and played big role in Malaysia and the Muslim World.
He said, while addressing the opening sitting of the Popular Congress Party's General Conference at Burri in Khartoum, Friday, which was attended by political forces , national dignitaries , representatives of Islamic Movements , and diplomats, that the national interest is important for Sudanese people amid current internal and external openness.
