Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) Mustafa Amin inked a cooperation protocol on Tuesday between the Antiquities Ministry and Egypt Air Tourism and Duty Free Company (Karnak) to revive the transit tourism.
The agreement was attended by Head of the Finance Sector Mohamed Sami, Board Chairman of Karnak and Chairman of EgyptAir Sameh al-Hefny.
The protocol stipulates that tourists who use transit during the official working hours would be given a 50 % discount on the entry fees for archaeological sites and museums in Cairo and a 30% discount after the working hours, Mustafa Amin asserted.
