The Ministry of Culture is seeking to organize book fairs in all Egyptian cities with the aim to achieve cultural justice, said Culture Minister Helmy el Namnam on Tuesday.
Last year, the Ministry organized 100 book fairs across Egypt, Namnam said as he visited the Menufiya Book Fair at Shebin el Kom Stadium on its last day.
This season, 52 fairs have so far been organized, he added.
Namnam said his Ministry is also organizing 45 book fairs at sports clubs, youth centers, schools, universities and companies.
