Culture Minister Helmy el Namnam asserted that boosting cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the cultural field is very important.
In statements to MENA on Friday, the minister said the Saudi side is keen on getting acquainted with Egypt's experience in the cultural field, especially in translation and theater for children.
Earlier on Friday, Namnam received his Saudi counterpart Adel Al Toraifi to discuss boosting cooperation.
The upcoming period will see a number of meetings between Egyptian and Saudi officials to discuss means of fostering bilateral relations, the minister further said.
He added that the Saudi minister pledged to increase the participation of Egypt in all upcoming book fairs organized by the kingdom.
