Minister of Awqaf Mohammad Mokhtar Gomaa said Egypt has restored its pioneering role in the region and powerfully going on the right track of having an international position by hosting such important conference in Sharm El Sheikh.
In a statement released on Saturday, Awqaf Minister said the large participation in Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) reflected the world leaders' appreciation of Egypt and its history and civilization.
This international event reinforced belonging to our great country with all its unique history and tolerant civilization, added the minister.
He also called on people to join hands with their political leadership, asserting that the police and army are red lines that should not be transgressed.
The minister also made it clear that the level of representation at the conference reflected how far such participants appreciate the personality of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for all his achievements in Egypt within a short time after he assumed post.
He also praised the distinguished Arab support to Egypt at the beginning of the conference and its pledged aid packages that come in appreciation of Cairo's position.
