Egypt's Culture Minister Abdel Wahid el Nabawy has met with his counterpart of Senegal Mbagnick Ndiaye on the sidelines of the 2015 Expo in Milan.
The meeting took on assistance Cairo can provide to Senegal in renovating and recording its heritage, said a press release issued by the Egyptian culture ministry on Monday.
Ndiaye hailed Egypt's leading role at the African level. He said his country seeks Cairo's help in managing museums.
The ministers agreed on organizing joint events including a Senegalese week in Egypt and a similar Egyptian one in the African country, said the ministry.
