Egyptian Culture Adviser in Beijing Hussein Ibrahim hailed the outcome of a session on common understanding among people that was held on the fringe of the recent Road and Belt Forum.
In statements to MENA on Wednesday, he said the session forms the basis for civilization and humanitarian cooperation under the umbrella of the One Road, One Belt" strategy.
China's "One Belt, One Road" strategy was launched in 2013 and is aimed at developing infrastructure and strengthening ties between Eurasian countries, focusing on the land-based Silk Road Economic Belt.
China is pledging more than dlrs100 billion to finance projects under its "One Belt, One Road" strategy which is meant also to strengthen the world's second-largest economy's investment, influence and trade links to the rest of the globe.
China endeavors to build a win-win business partnership with other countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative
