Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh el Damaty visited Thursday an archaeological area in Quesna in Menoufia after discovering a pharaonic tomb of a 3rd dynasty king.
Damaty was accompanied by Menoufia Governor Hisham Abdel Baset.
A museum will be established in Quesna to showcase all the pieces found in the tomb which belong to King Khaba of the 3rd dynasty, Damaty said in statements during the visit.
The finds opens the way for the researchers to know the regional administration system during this era, he said.
On the other hand, Abdel Baset said that a wall will be built around this archaeological area and the nearby dump will be transferred to another place.
