The Awqaf Ministry announced that the sermon of the first Friday in Gamadi el-Akher month (a month in the Islamic calender) in all the mosques of all governorates will be on Arab solidarity and prospects of the future.
This will be on the occasion of holding the Arab Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry said that the sermon will tackle Arab solidarity in fighting terrorism and the prospects of Arab cooperation on the cultural, intellectual and economic levels.
The sermon will also take up the unity of the Arab and Islamic nations, the statement read, adding that the Islamic peoples have the aspects of progress.
The first Friday of Gamadi el-Akher will fall on March 28 when the Arab Summit will kick off.
