Egypt's General Consulate in Shanghai concluded the Egyptian cultural and touristic activities which were launched on August 14.

Many Chinese people and foreigners living in Shanghai attended the event.

The event lasted for ten days.

Egypt's General Consul in Shanghai Khaled Youssef addressed the attendants during the closing ceremony and thanked the Egyptian Culture Ministry and the bodies that sponsored the event.

The event aimed at giving a hint on the Egyptian culture, arts, tourist sites and archaeological places, he said.
