Minister of Culture Abdel Wahed al-Nabawi
Cairo - MENA

Culture Minister Abdel Wahed al Nabawi inaugurated on Saturday “Soft Power.. Art, Thought, Creativity against Extremism, Terrorism” conference.

During the inauguration, Nabawi said that we need art, thought and creativity as soft powers to confront extremism, violence and terrorism.

He pointed out that army and police forces are protecting the country and the people but they will not win over terrorists by themselves, calling on intellectuals and artists to shoulder their role in the battle against evil powers.
