Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has concluded a seminar on pearling and gemstones delivered by international gemologist Vincent Pardieu.
The seminar was organized by the pearl, gold and jewellery sector committee of the Chamber headed by board member Deema Al Haddad in cooperation with the Gem and Pearl Testing Laboratory of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
In this regard Al Haddad said "Organizing the event comes in a bid to keep the sector aware of updates in the field and encourage business owners to invigorate and expand their businesses".
"Bahrain has always been known for the quality of its pearls and the unique jewellery produced. We should build on this reputation and put the sector to its true potentials, and this is what we are pursuing as the concerned committee in the Chamber," she added.
Industry and Commerce Ministry assistant undersecretary for domestic trade Hameed Rahma alongside members of the sector attended the seminar.
