Iran cultural attaché in Kuwait called for enhanced cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries. In a meeting with Secretary-General of the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature Ali al-Yoha, Abbas Khamehyar called for materialization of the agreements inked between two sides. He further expressed his satsifaction with the existing bilateral ties in the fields of sciences, culture and arts. On the two countries' cultural and historical commonalities, Khamehyar voiced Tehran's readiness to cooperate with Kuwait in several cultural fields including printing and publications, film, music, literature and contemporary poetry. Al-Yoha, for his part, referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran as a friendly country and called for further expansion of cultural ties. He reiterated that different political tastes should not affect bilateral cultural cooperation between the two Iranian and Kuwaiti nations.
