Iran's Islamic Guidance and Culture Minister Seyed Mohammad Hosseini met with his Qatari counterpart, and announced Iran's readiness for setting up a permanent center of cultural products in Qatar.This year Iran is the guest of honor of Qatar Book Fair. According to the Iranian book news agency, during the visit Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage said, "The variety of Iranian cultural products particularly its books, movies, animations and PC games has paved the grounds for Iran to develop its cultural ties with regional countries." He said that Iran's main policy is to expand its ties with neighboring countries particularly the Islamic ones, and added," Considering the Islamic Awakening move and the rise of the Muslim people, Iran's cultural products are needed more since they have been produced according to Islamic basics." Moreover Seyed Mohammad Hosseini said that since the Fajr decade and the anniversary of the Islamic revolution's victory is approaching frequent international festivals will be held in Iran which could be useful for exchanging experiences and international interaction. Furthermore Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari said that certainly Iran-Qatar's ties, which are based on Islam, enjoy depth and strength.
