Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Club has organized the 12th stamps and coins auction in the culture village of Katara, Doha, building 12, with delegations from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) taking part . The event, which came in the framework of joint cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, was held earlier on Friday evening, said the Club''s Board Deputy Chairman President Hussain Rajab Al-Ismail. On this occasion, the Club has published a catalogue containing more than 159 stamp collections and 188 banknotes and coins besides auction terms and conditions of sale and payment method, he added. The event was a good opportunity for philatelists and numismatists to better know this this high-end hobby in terms of collecting tools, dealing, buy and exchange, he said. Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Club was awarded during Japan World Stamp Exhibition "Philanippon 2011" in August 2011 held under the theme "Stamps Link the World.
