King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian works and the Islamic Relief Organization discussed Tuesday ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise.
At a meeting with Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rubai'aa, the Supervisor-General of King Salman Center, IRO Secretary General Ihsan Bin Saleh Tayib was briefed on the center's activities in support of the Yemeni people, in addition to relief and humanitarian operations and the agreements signed by King Salman center and a number of regional and international organizations.
Meanwhile, Al Rubai'aa also briefed ambassadors of Norway, Finland and Denmark and a number of European embassy staffers on the center's activities in support of the Yemeni people, especially with regard to efforts with regard to stranded Yemeni citizens.
The center had earlier initiated an integrated program to move stranded Yemenis from a number of international airports to Yemen, in coordination with the legitimate government in Yemen.
