King Tutankhamun's mask sound, safe

The mask of King Tutankhamun is sound and there is no "true threat" to its safety, Egyptian Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty said on Saturday.
"The epoxy glue used in renovating the mask was mistakenly used according to what was revealed by a German expert," Damaty said in a press conference at the Egyptian Museum.
He added that restorers responsible for the "botched" repair will be referred to investigations.
