Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) spares no resources in helping Kuwaiti inventors bring to fruition their creative ideas and inventions, said an official at the foundation at a press conference on Wednesday.
The conference was held at the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) which is an offshoot of KFAS, where the Kuwaiti inventors Dr. Hassan Al-Shimmeri, Nasser Al-Khaldi, and Ahmad Al-Saleh were celebrated for their scientific achievements.
Dr. Al-Shimmeri has patented a surgical implement and Al-Khaldi and Al-Saleh, inventing a remote control robotic device, were invited to MicroFair, a reputable industrial fair which recently took place in New York.
Their device was showcased in many industrial fairs in such countries as Japan, Spain, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE.
All three inventors thanked KFAS and SACGC for their encouragement and dedication to helping Kuwaiti inventors realize their technical dreams.
