Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam described here on Saturday Kuwait's permanent participation in Beirut Arab International Book Fair as a "distinctive emblem".
During his visit to the pavilion of the Kuwait research and studies center of the 58th book fair, the premier extended his greetings to His Highness the Amir, government and people of Kuwait as they are highly admired by all Lebanese.
For his part, former prime minister and president the parliamentary (Future Bloc) Fouad Siniora said that the State of Kuwait is always used to occupy a prominent position in the Beirut Book Fair in its recognition of the importance of the book and culture for the people and nations.
Siniora stressed the need to encourage distinctive business that would give extra value to the cultural stock, expressing his appreciation for the active participation of the Kuwaiti cultural institutions that enriches the Beirut Book Fair.
