Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab witnessed Saturday a ceremony organized by the Cultural Ministry in cooperation with Akhbar el Yom foundation to celebrate the 70th birthday of great author and novelist Gamal el Ghitani at the House of Al Sehemi.
The event was attended by Culture Minister Abdel Wahed el Nabawi, Minister of Antiquities Mamdoh el Damati, Cairo Governor Galal Saeed and Board Chairman of Akbar el Yom foundation Yasser Rezq.
A galaxy of authors and editors-in-chief, artists and Ghitani’s friends took part in the event.
During the ceremony, Mahlab lauded the national enlightenment role of Ghitani that he presents via his works.
