Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty visited Sunday the Grand Egyptian Museum to get acquainted with the development of work in the huge project which will be inaugurated in 2018.
The minister listened to a detailed explanation by the general supervisor on the venture Tarek Tawfiq about the project which will be implemented in cooperation with the Japanese side.
Damaty, afterwards, headed to the pyramids antiquities area to meet Presidential Aide for National and Strategic Projects Ibrahim Mahlab who was keen on inspecting the venture of developing the pyramids' plateau on the ground.
This comes in light of the directives given by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to finalize this project.
