Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, has inaugurated Al Aziz Mosque at Al Reem Island in the presence of religious clerics, guests of the UAE President.

Sheikh Nahyan and the audience performed the Friday prayer in the mosque, which has a capacity of 2, 500 worshippers. The mosque has been built over a land area of 5, 100 square metres. After the prayer, Sheikh Nahyan toured the mosque.

The Dh65 million three-storey mosque was built at the expense of Hassan Abdullah Ismaik.

Also, Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, attended the inauguration.
