Qatar: Sand, Sea and Sky, a book by the most recent US Ambassador to Qatar's wife Diana Untermeyer has been inaugurated in attendance of Qatar's Acting Consul General in Houston, Texas Hamad Mohamed Hussein Al-Muftah. The book released in English provides a photographic collection of Qatar and its journey into modernity preserving the duality of its culture. Untermeyer's speech during the inauguration ceremony showcased the great achievements of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in addition to highlighting the strong ties between Qatar and the US. The author also praised the Baker Institute in Houston's role in the ceremony valuing efforts made by Exxon-Mobil and Qatari institutions, including the Doha Museum of Islamic Arts, Qatar Airways, Qatari Diar, RasGas, and Al Faleh Group who helped by endorsing the book.
