HE Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met in Paris with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
During the meeting, the UN Secretary-General praised Qatar's prominent role in support of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and its programs.
The meeting came on the sidelines of the ceremony held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris last night to mark its 70th anniversary.
The ceremony was attended by heads of the international organizations, delegates of UNESCO Member States, high-level figures from France and countries around the world interested in the UNESCO and its activities which provide it with the necessary support in its cultural and humanitarian projects.
