Qatar's culture minister meets UNESCO director-general

HE Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met in Paris with the UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova who expressed appreciation for the support provided by the State of Qatar to its various programs.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the ceremony held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris last night to mark its 70th anniversary.

The ceremony was attended by heads of the international organizations, delegates of UNESCO Member States, high-level figures from France and countries around the world interested in the UNESCO and its activities which provide it with the necessary support in its cultural and humanitarian projects.
