HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met Tuesday with former US presidential nominee and civil rights activist Baptist minister Jesse Jackson, currently visiting Qatar to take part in the 15th Doha Forum and the Enriching the Middle East's Economic Future Conference.
Talks during the meeting covered cultural and humanitarian issues in the international arena, and the role of culture in bridging the gap between people.
Following the meeting, Jackson valued the comprehensive renaissance achieved by the State of Qatar and its important role in empowering freedoms, highlighting the fact that Doha has truly become the capital of conferences that aimed at achieving a bright future for all peoples.
