Russell Brand
London -UPI

Russell Brand has been promoting his book and talking about revolution a lot this week, and he may give up acting. His book, aptly titled Revolution, was just released by Random House.
After having to cancel a debate that was to coincide with the book launch, due to not being confident his guest Laurence Easeman held the political beliefs he thought he did, he's done a few interviews and made a few appearances.
During an interview he did this week with Financial Times, Brand claimed he may give up acting to pursue his goals of starting a revolution. He said he's even considered giving up his millions and claimed he would die for the cause. He also talked about drug habits. "I always give money to drug addicts. It is a necessary reprieve. No one stops taking drugs 'cos they've not got money -- they will steal," he said.
The talk hasn't only been on revolution. Brand expressed his distaste for graphs during an interview with Newsnight on Thursday. "I don't want to look at a graph, mate. I ain't got time for a bloody graph," he told host Evan Davis when a graph about wages in the United Kingdom appeared on the screen behind them. This started a hashtag on Twitter called #SendRussellGraphs, and users did just that.
Reviews of Brand's book have been varied, with some disliking it to the point of calling it "sub-undergraduate dross," as The Telegraph put it, though early Amazon reviews praise his "sincerity" and "insight."
