President Abdel Fattah El Sisi performed Friday prayers at the El Mosheir Tantawi Mosque in Cairo to mark the 10th of Ramadan victory in the war against Israel.
Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa delivered a sermon on virtues of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
During the sermon, Gomaa also talked about victories achieved in Ramadan, including the Battle of Badr and the 10th of Ramadan War (October 6th War).
Also, the Awqaf minister called on Armed Forces personnel to relentlessly face all terrorist groups seeking to distort the image of Islam.
At the conclusion of the sermon, Gomaa wished Egypt and all Islamic countries more security, peace and stability.
