Visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday paid a visit to Harmony Center in Singapore where he met with the Mufti of Singapore and some of Azhar graduates in Singapore.
The Harmony Center in Singapore was established upon initiative from the Islamic Council in Singapore with the participation of followers of 10 basic religions in the country.
Muslims constitute 15 percent of Singapore's population. Also, there are two Azharite schools in Singapore and some 300 Singaporeans study annually in Azhar University.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived here earlier in the day as part of an Asian tour that will take him to China and Indonesia.
