A number of Islamic delegations arrived here on Sunday to participate in the international conference for Iftaa held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and with the participation of senior muftis from 50 countries.
The two-day conference, held under the title "The Fatawa: Current Realities and Future Prospects", aims to get acquainted with problems facing the modern Iftaa world and find solutions.
Lebanese Mufti Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian and Grand Mufti of Al Quds and Palestine Sheikh Mohamed Hussein are among those who arrived here to partake in the event.
An initiative will be launched during the conference to form a Cairo-based general secretariat as an international organization specialized in coordinating between Iftaa bodies around the world.
