The Damascene Rose, Jasmine, Barada River, and the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic all are terms used in an exhibition titled "Syria…The Steadfastness and Generosity" which kicked off on Wednesday at the garden of the Syrian National Museum in Damascus. The exhibits embody the deep-rooted Syrian culture as they were made of natural materials, and they were put between lots of sculptures erected in the garden as evidence on the constituents of the great Syrian culture. The exhibition encompasses The event enhances the national belonging and stresses the aesthetic value of the social diversity in Syria and in Damascus which embraced the Canaanite, Phoenician, Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic civilizations.
