Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Foreign Minister, has met with Gilbert Saboya, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Andorra.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the UAE's keenness to enhance cooperation with Andorra as well as ways to boost relations in all fields.
On his part, Saboya expressed his wishes to enhance bilateral relations between his country and the UAE, praising the march of development witnessed by the UAE in all domains. They also tackled cooperation in various spheres and ways to bolster it, especially in the economic, investment and energy fields in the best interest of the two countries.
They also discussed the importance of private sector and businesspersons' contributions to enhancing economic and bilateral collaboration.
Sheikh Abdullah and Saboya signed the double taxation avoidance and encouraging and protection of investments agreements.
The UAE Foreign Minister also attended a lunch banquet hosted in his honour by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Andorra.
Among those who attended the meeting were Dr. Hessa Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaiba, the UAE's non-resident Ambassador to Andorra, Silvia Calvo, Andorra's Minister for the Environment and Sustainable Development, Neus Soriano, the State Secretary of tourism and trade of Andorra and Monica Bonell Tuset, Deputy Sindic General (Consell General d'Andorra).
