Bahraini Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met here today with Vice President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen Khaled Mahfoudh Bahah, who is currently visiting Bahrain.
During the meeting, they discussed broader efforts to strengthen coordination and collaboration between the two countries.
Prince Salman emphasized the importance of ensuring lasting security and stability in Yemen, and added that the next phase of Coalition efforts will be underpinned by UN Security Council resolution 2216, which seeks to find a political solution and takes into account the humanitarian needs of Yemen’s citizens.
Prince Salman expressed his gratitude for Bahrain's commitment to protecting the stability and sovereignty of Yemen, and highlighted Bahrain's role in both military operations.
