King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain met here today with GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani who is on a visit to Bahrain as part of a regional tour.

The GCC Chief informed the Bahraini King about the ongoing preparations for the 15th consultative meeting of the GCC Supreme Council which will be held in Riyadh next month. He also briefed the King on the main GCC achievements and implementation of decisions by various ministerial committees, Bahrain news agency BNA reported.

The King underlined the importance of the consultative meeting which reflects keenness of the GCC leaders to follow up on the GCC achievements and build on them.He described it as an opportunity to exchange views on regional and Arab developments.
