Defence minister meets Air Academy teaching staff, cadets

Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi met on Sunday with members of the teaching staff and students of the Air Academy as part of efforts to follow up the scientific and military rehabilitation of the students of the military academies and institutes.

Director of the academy Hisham Ahmed Hasham gave a presentation on the development of the educational, administrative and technical mechanism inside the academy.

He lauded the patriotic role played by fighters of the academy in fighting terrorism in Sinai and securing homeland borders.

Sobhi chatted with the students and listened to their opinions and queries.

He also honored top students and distinguished teaching staff members.

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmouh Hegazi and a number of senior army officials attended the meeting.
