Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior in Jeddah.
They discussed boosting bilateral ties, enhancing cooperation in various fields as well as Arab, Muslim and international issues of mutual concern.
Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi ambassador in Cairo Ahmad Qattan, and Egyptian envoy in Riyadh Afify Abdel-Wahab attended the meeting.
The visit comes as part of continuous coordination and consultation between the two countries.
Shoukry is scheduled to convene with his Saudi counterpart on Thursday.
