Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa al Ahwani met on Wednesday with a French delegation including representatives of more than 30 French companies.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed Egypt's economic status in view of the Egyptian government plans to carry out comprehensive reform plans and lure more foreign investments. She also shed light on the projects of top priority to the government in the fields of energy, oil, transport, communication, health and vocational training.
The Egyptian minister pointed out that France is a key trade and investment partner to Egypt as the volume of French investments reached euros 7 billion.
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and France reached dlrs 2.6 million at the end of 2014.
France took part in Egypt Economic Development Conference held in Sharm El Sheikh with a high-level delegation representing a large number of companies operating in the various fields.
