Erekat briefs US congress delegation on latest developments in territories

PLO Executive Committee Member Saeb Erekat met with a US Congress delegation led by Senator Bill Foster and a delegation of J Street, a liberal Jewish-American lobbying group.

During the meeting, Erekat briefed them on the latest developments in Palestine.

Erekat, meanwhile, met with Indian assistant external affairs minister Sandeep Kumar along with the Indian representative to Palestine.

Erekat said, during the two meetings, that the Israeli government continues to violate international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Palestine will continue in preparing settlement files and the crimes committed by Israel in order to refer them to the International Criminal Court, he affirmed.
