Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa met his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, on the sidelines of the Ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League Council in its extraordinary session, held at the Arab League headquarters today.
The two ministers reviewed the course of the brotherly bilateral cooperation and how to reinforce it in all fields, in addition to the meeting to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain next Sunday for the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Sunday’s meeting is set to look into the ongoing efforts of the four countries to halt the State of Qatar’ support for extremism and terrorism. During today’s meeting, the two ministers affirmed the strength of the outstanding historical relations between the two brotherly peoples and countries and stressed the importance of continuing joint collaboration and coordination regarding the various issues for the benefit of both countries and in a way that would contribute to the security and stability of the entire region.
