Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Malki and Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim al-Jaafari signed an agreement Wednesday to form a joint ministerial committee.
The agreement was signed during a meeting between the two foreign ministers in Baghdad.
The committee is scheduled to boost ties and improve cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments of the Palestinian cause at the regional and international arenas.
Also, they discussed violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and holy places in the occupied territories.
