The Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish and Ismalia Governor Yassin Taher received on Wednesday former Egyptian president and Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court Adly Mansour as well as members of the court in the simulation building affiliated to the Suez Canal Authority during an official visit to the new canal.
During the visit, Mamish explained the stages of the excavation work in the project which costs 8.200 billion dollars, aims at digging a new 72-km canal.
He said that the revenues of the new canal will raise the current revenues by 259 % by the advent of the year 2023 which will support the Egyptian economy.
