Al Mahlmoud stressed the importance of the meeting in crystalizing a common GCC vision on how to protect the integrity and fight corruption in all its forms and manifestations, stressing that the outcomes of the meeting will help in reaching a unified GCC position in regional and international forums with regards to the phenomenon of corruption.
The meeting, which was addressed as well by Assistant GCC Secretary General and a number of head of the delegations, will concluded with a set of recommendations to be referred to the GCC Secretariat General.
Doha had hosted the first meeting of the undersecretaries or assistants of GCC anti-corruption authorities and agencies in February, which concluded by the proposals prepared by the committee of experts.
