Higher Education Minister meets with UNESCO chief

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ashraf el Shehhi met with UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova in Paris.

The meeting came on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the 199th session of the UNESCO Executive Board, kicked off on April 4.

Shihi held several meetings with a raft of ministers taking part in the gathering.

In a keynote speech, Shehhi reviewed Egypt's vision concerning facing extremism and terror organizations and activating international organizations' role in launching a intellectual, cultural and educational revolution.
