Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Khaled al Hamad al Sabah on Monday received Special Envoy of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
The UN envoy briefed the Kuwaiti top diplomat on deliberations of the Geneva conference on Yemen.
He also reiterated the UN chief's condolences over the victims of a terrorist suicide blast that targeted a mosque in Kuwait on Friday.
He said that the UN backs Kuwait and its people in their efforts to combat terrorism.
