French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in the French capital Paris on Friday, two weeks after receiving Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu.
In a statement following his meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the Elysee Palace on Tuesday, Macron said France has a desire to talk with the Palestinians and Israelis who are the parties that shall build peace in the region.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah II wished that a progress could be achieved in this regard, adding that they would wait for the next two or three months in order to let Washington propose its relevant plan.
